Challenge Bibendum 2011: Save the date!

Creation date: 18 May 2011

In the year that celebrates the birth, of the modern automobile, with the registration 125 years ago of the patent for the first internal combustion engine vehicle (Benz Patentmotorwagen), the city of Berlin will welcome from 18 to 22 May the 11th edition of Challenge Bibendum. This international event, created in 1998, has become one of the principal world forums where the main players in the transport industry – carmakers, parts suppliers, developers of technical solutions, energy suppliers and research institutes – meet
with political and economic decision makers as well as opinion leaders.

This year around 5,000 participants are expected to attend. This 11th edition of Challenge Bibendum is the ideal opportunity to meet the experts, exchange information and debate the way forward to achieve a sustainable mobility that is cleaner, safer and freer but still
affordable for a large part of the world’s population, condition sine qua non for the world of transport to continue to play its full social and economic role.
